In this division, players learn the basic fundamentals of coordination through kicking, throwing, and base running. While being introduced to the rules of kickball, the focus remains on fun, fitness, and friendships. Positional play is gently introduced, with an emphasis on teamwork. Special rules—such as unlimited outs and no official scorekeeping—make the 4–7 division the perfect starting point for our youngest players.
Children in this division have a stronger grasp of the rules and begin to develop healthy competitiveness with their peers. Through situational play, they learn effective communication, leading to more successful team fielding. Players also build on their skills through improved base running, as well as fielding through designated positional play—key components in developing the 8–10 age group.
The 11–13 division introduces a higher level of skill development, competitiveness, and game intensity. Player pitching is introduced, and strategic play increases through varied pitching styles, advanced kicking techniques, and refined fielding methods. Good sportsmanship is emphasized—not only toward teammates, but also toward opponents and umpires, both on and off the field.
While Crush remains a recreational youth league, the 14 & older division features a higher level of advanced play. Enhanced pitching techniques, refined kicking skills, and exceptional base running contribute to a more competitive game. This division also emphasizes leadership, personal growth, and a spirit of mentorship both on and off the field.
